Current Employment Opportunities
We will normally advertise employment opportunities in the media and on our website. All prospective employees are required to fill in the appropriate Saint Michael's application form. For current vacancies these forms can be downloaded directly from our website together with a Job Description for that role. Simply follow the link above.
If we don't have a current vacancy that is suitable, please contact us with your details including your specialism e.g Nursing, Fundraising, Finance. We will ensure you are the first to know when vacancies do arise.
Potential applicants should note that because of the nature of the work undertaken by Saint Michael's, all employee posts are exempt from the provisions of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975 and therefore no one may withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provisions of the Act. It is our policy to check with the Criminal Records Bureau for possible criminal background on any person wishing to work in a capacity which allows them access to children and vulnerable adults. This process will be completed by Saint Michael's and each applicant treated fairly by taking into account the circumstances of the conviction in relation to the nature of the work involved.
